Summer Camp FAQ

  • Summer 2026 begins June 1 and ends August 28th!

  • We have two age groups:

    • Preschool (ages 3 to 5)

    • Elementary School (ages 5 to 11)

We may invite a small group of students into our Junior Teachers (JT) Program. This a Young Leadership training camp for students ages 11-14 years old. This program is offered by invitation only. If you have a child who you believe may qualify, please contact Sharon via your Brightwheel app or submit a contact form, here, to set up an interview.

  • Nope! One of the best things that families enjoy about Ko12 Summer Camp is the flexibility they can have with their summer schedules. There is no attendance minimum. You can attend as much (or as little) as you like.

    • Extra clothes for bathroom accidents, a messy art project or a bug digging activity.

    • Diapers and wipes if still potty training.

    • A healthy packed lunch in a container they can learn to open and eat independently. We help with containers, but cannot feed any child. Please be sure to pack a spoon or fork if they need one and that their lunch does not need to be heated or refrigerated. We often eat outside so lunches should be packed to sustain the summer heat (suggestions below).

    • Bathing suit for swimming or water activities.

    • Refillable water bottle.

    • Camp shirt.

    • All items need to be labeled.

    • Sunscreen spray to share

  • All lunches should be full and complete. We provide a morning and afternoon snack each day but we are very active and kids get hungry! All lunches should be easy to open and close and all utensils need to be packed. Yogurt tubes, juice boxes and bags, small water bottles, or fruit cups work well when frozen to help keep the full lunch box cold and are melted at just the right eating temperature by the time they’re ready to enjoy. No food will be able to be heated or prepared by teachers (we're not allowed!).
