Our Philosophy to Education

The Kids on 12th curriculum is back by scientific research on brain development and learning. It is time tested, having been used in our school since 2007.

At its core, our teaching methods are a balance of traditional (classroom, project-based, individual and group, etc.) learning activities combined with frequent physical activity and social-emotional education. It is designed to enhance natural curiosity, satisfy the young student’s need for physical activity, and develop a high level of social-emotional abilities.

Kids on 12th School was founded on the principle that every child is unique and in a different place with their academic skills and learning abilities. It’s our mission to meet the academic needs and interests of each student.

We teach self-confidence, self-discipline and self-determination. We encourage individuality and self-expression and help students to reach their maximum potential.

Our Elementary School is dedicated to focusing on the development of foundational skills in essential subjects such as literacy, math, science, and social studies, all through engaging hands-on projects and interactive activities. Students are actively encouraged to ask questions, explore their unique interests, and work collaboratively with their peers in a supportive environment.

While public schools often face challenges in retaining funding for essential gym classes, students at Kids on 12th are on the move every single day. Research shows that movement significantly aids in learning retention, which is why our students receive a balanced mix of structured activities and play throughout their day.

In addition to our core curriculum, we proudly offer a wide variety of enrichment programs, including art, music, and physical education. These enriching programs complement and enhance our core lessons while providing students with valuable opportunities to explore their interests and develop a diverse range of new skills.

Elementary School Schedule & Rates

    • Monday - Friday (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

  • Monthly rates starting at $1490/month for continuing students.

    • Early Drop Off (8:00 AM to 8:29 AM)

    • After Care (3:01 PM to 6:00 PM)
